Oyster trip with the tractor bus
The trip will take you across the seabed, where we experience the calm, bird life, and there is the opportunity to collect shells, mussels, etc.
The guide tells us about the Wadden Sea and the rich animal and bird life.
Get your senses stimulated on this nature experience. We drive a tractor about 7 km out into the Wadden Sea to pick oysters.
There is the option of eating them fresh. On the oyster tour we will go out onto a soft and muddy seabed - therefore rubber boots or waders are necessary.

The trip is an experience for both children and adults.
When we get back to the mainland we will try to cook oysters on the grill. You can also eat them fresh and raw. The guide will have lemon and accessories, and some bubbles will be served while you taste the fresh oysters.
Meeting point: Mandøbussen's parking lot at the Vadehavscenteret, Okholmvej 5, Vester Vedsted, 6760 Ribe.
Duration: 2-3 hours (including transport).
Price for oyster tour with Mandøbussen:
Adult 325 kr.
Child 150 kr. (under 12 years) (under 4 years are free)
Oyster knives can be purchased for 100 DKK per piece
Waders can be rented for 50 DKK per pair.

Practical information: Remember. Warm, windproof and possibly waterproof clothing,
Long rubber boots / waders, a bucket for the oysters and possibly waterproof gloves.
