Oyster Festival on Mandø in the Wadden Sea - 7th and 8th March 2025

Join us for a unique tasting experience where gastronomy and natural ingredients go hand in hand.

The Oyster Festival on Mandø is an unforgettable weekend with experiences in nature, a good and cozy atmosphere and delicate flavor combinations.

Guided tour with Benny and Thomas at approx. 12 noon - depending on the tide.

Experience the beautiful nature of Mandø, where you will learn to pick fresh oysters directly from the wild.

Benny and Thomas will guide you through an authentic experience, and afterwards you will have the opportunity to cook the picked oysters on the grill under guidance.

4 Exclusive Oyster Varieties:

Parisian Oysters - Capers, onion, beetroot, horseradish and quail eggs
Oysters Bearnaise - Bechamel sauce and tarragon
Oysters à la May - Mango, celery, chilli and garlic
Oysters Ray Sheep - White wine, cheese and herbs

 

Dinner at 6:30 pm

On Friday evening, your taste buds will be pampered with perfectly prepared, long-roasted lamb.

End the day with a night at the cozy Mandø Kro, where you can observe the island's unique dark sky/starry skies and fantastic wildlife.
