Hiking on Fanø

Fanø is a small island of 56 km2, but still offers many hiking opportunities in a varied landscape.

In the area by Fanø Klitplantage there are several marked routes of 3-4 km length. On the east side you experience both plantation, field and dunes. On the west side you experience the dune landscape in all its splendor.

You can also choose to hike the route Camino Fanø, where you reach the entire island. The route is approx. 41 km and is divided into 2 stages. The route is made as an 8 number, so on both stages you come through characteristic and very different landscapes on both stages.

Stage 1 starts in Nordby and ends in Sønderho, and stage 2 starts in Sønderho and ends in Nordby. Of course, you can also choose to take the trip the other way around.
